Running Vista 32.
Downloaded the latest version of the softmod - Catalyst 7.7 v6.14.10.658 Vista
Had Cat 7.7 installed earlier with no problems. Replaced the patched driver sy_ file with the sys file at
C:\ATI\SUPPORT\7-7_vista32_dd_49713\Packages\Drivers\Display\LH_INF \B_49782
Tried to update the driver. From the inf file located one folder up. Screen flickers a few times. I hear a couple of beeps and then the screen says the driver was installed. Fire up ATITool and 4 pipelines are running instead of 8. Anyone have any suggestions (besides get a new card)?
