Prey is the most disturbing video game I have ever played

I personally feel that some of the designers of the video game Prey were perverts with head cases on drugs.

Be warned: The video is not safe for work, it's gory, and it's disturbing.

Though, after you get through most of the gore, it's actually a pretty interesting game overall :p.

Prey rules and the multiplayer is fun since most maps go in all directions. I have the Collector's Edition with a Custom Tin Box, Artwork, and some pewter figures. It is FS in my thread if anyone is interested! :toast:

The portal concept was AMAZING, I just think they overused it...I hated running around chasing after Jen for half the game. After I blew up Jen though, the game was DEFINITELY awesome.

And some of the monsters/weapons were nothing short of breathtaking. After I stopped paying attention to the gory crap lying around everywhere, the game was quite nice :).

Yeah that machine is definatly hardcore...

I would have to say prey is the goriest game ive played as far as those kinds of sights go. Quake4 is pretty bad on the shock factor, especially when walking through the putrification plant or being turned into strogg.

Agreed there.

Stroggification was (to me, at least) completely unexpected, but they were at least fair and made Corporal Kain black out during some of the process. And the putrification plant was absolutely disgusting...but like Prey, it fit in well, and was very well thought out.

Bloody eye-candy! That is well detailed gore and definitely the child of some twisted minds.

It's even more well detailed at 1440x900 with everything maxxed out, I turned the resolution down a bit to take a good FRAPS video, and then a few things got lost in compression via Windows Movie Maker.

But still, the point remains...eww :laugh:.

I got stuck in that game so many times....YET I LOVED IT. I played that whole game in one day (Maybe 2)if I can remember right.

the game is awesome but the only flaw i found was that the screaming child ghost was a scary as hell ....
