I dont know whats going on but I installed 3Dmark06 and then I opened up the program and its still loading.....still trying to scan my computer for configs....suppose to take at least a minute but its been on for more then 30 anyone have this kind of trouble or what do you recommend I do?

Ah, did you clean the registry and check my program folders for anything about 3dmark06 or futuremark?

also be sure you have the latest edition or patch the one you have it it isnt.

Go to C:\Windows\system32\Futuremark\MSC\ and rename direcpll.dll to anything you wish.

or open the shortcut of the 06 on the desktop and in the target area add -nosysteminfo.

I got it working I dont think I did TOO bad, on 06 but I wish I had a non-SLI board hat may be why it was low dunno...

seems about right for that board should be fine it has a 16x pci/e slot right. My father-in-law scores 8166 with a dual core intel pressler here compare ~~ http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=2684417

yup your score is right for your rig, mine is 9700 at stock, each mHZ on the cpu helps relieve a bottleneck which is evident as I get 10500 at 3.2GHZ (stock gpu) and 10720 at 3.36GHZ.
