Does anyone know why my Catalyst Control Center doesn't have the overdrive option? Everything else seems to be in order. I downloaded the 5.6 version and everything I know to do. thanks

does your X700 have temp monitoring? if it doesnt you wont get Overdrive as they are linked together

I am not sure if it has temp monitoring but I can overclock it with ati tool, but I would like to have it overclock automatically when I start certain games like I could in redline, but that doesn't support my card either.

x700's don't have temperature sensors, thus nor do they have overdrive. Just use ATI Tool, you can set it to switch to a certain saved overclock setting when 3D is detected.
