Hi,
I'm just looking at upgrading to Vista 64 bit and I was just wondering, does the 64 bit version of Vista have the same but 64 bit versions of drivers that are in the 32 bit editions of vista?
i.e if for example all of my hardware is installed in the deivce manager under vista 32bit, immediatly after a clean install, willall of my hardware be installed immediatly after a clean 64 bit install?

Thanks.

You need to get 64 bit drivers if you are planning on using 64bit Vista.

Thanks for your replies,
but does vista have built in 64 bit drivers like the 32 bit version of vista. I have an acer laptop but the Vista downloads on their site do not say whether they support 32 or 64, just says vista? I have just done clean install of 32 bit as experiment and all devices are fine. Just wanted to know if vista 64 bit had similar in built drivers.
Should have mentioned, this is not for the computer in my sytem specs, have already found 64 bit drivers for those. But this for an Acer aspire 5051awxmi (5050 series).

Thanks.
