Hey ive played the demo over and over i think its pretty sweet, tho i feel like my computer is under performing..maybe its just my imagination tho..i have an AMD 64 x 2 6000+ o/c to 3.15 ghz, 2 gb ram and an nvidia 7950GT, if i play the game in full quality i get around 30fps ingame it drops lower than that when u enter the mansion..if i do something liek stare at the ground it will shoot up to 60fps..prob cuz there is nothing to process on screen,..tho i read on other forums ppl are getting smooth play and i think they had lower system specs than me. ...im also wondering...what does the 7950gt compare to in the 8X00 series? if i got an 8800 would i have smooth 60fps or will i still get stutters now and then ..

The 8800 should be a huge step up from any 7 series.

The 8600 GT and GTS are much less expensive, but would only be small steps up from what you currently have. You should really consider a 8800 GTS 320 MB...I was gonna get that but decided to go ahead with the 640 MB version.

It's your GPU holding you back slightly.

Yea! im overclocking it right now with Ntunes, my gpu gets kinda hot tho..what would be a recommended maximum temp i stay under. I get confused cuz mine is a 512 mb card ..are u saying that the 8800 320mb is better?

use riva tuner and turn the fan speeds so you can get a higher oc
and yes the 8800GTS 320mb willl out do your card in games the GPU is more powerful than the one on your 7950
in comparo i get 30+FPS on my rig
3000+ @ 2.2ghz (any higher causes issues with bus speeds)
7800GS OC @480/1.43ghz
1gb DDR400@440mhz 3-3-3-8 1T single channel
games set 1024X768 all med settings

Humm the demo plays perfect on my system so i'm thinking it's not his CPU.
