View Full Version : New X1950XTX woth?
What do you think a new in the box x1950xtx is worth, considering the state of DX9 and DX10 games at this juncture?
I am needing to give advise to a family member and want you guys to give me your thoughts before I do.

$200-$250 range I would think.

Easily £110+, it'll completely thrash any X2600XT/8600GTS cards with ease.
Only the 8800GTS card and upwards could beat it, go figure...

If all goes well "soon" here the 1950xtx will run dx10.....
Don't know how they are doing on the project though. :(

Eh an 8800GTS isn't really a 1950XTX stomper.....
A 8800GTX now...

It maybe marginally difference but a 8800GTS has room to overclock whereas the X1950XTX is already pretty much maxed out.

Aww yes forgot about that... Ya overclocks 8800gts beats the 1950xtx up pretty decently....
So ya $200-$250 range I would say...
If your family member is selling one I may be interested though, I need another hot video card for one of my other systems.

Prices up on ebay can go for over $300, but forum pricing is $200-250 like everyone else says.
