My card is unstable at 520/560, and eventhough I have ATI Tool load certain clocks when it loads with Windows, I decided to flash back to the x800 Pro VIVO 16pp bios. Then I got the idea of flashing to x800 XT, but all I could find on here were x800 XT bioses that weren't ATI such as ASUS, Connect3D and Dell. So I was wondering if anybody had the actual ATI x800 XT bios that they could post on here or send to me over AIM.
Thanks.

So this will say ATI x800 XT in display settings then, right? Because I don't want it to say Powercolor x800 XT.

In fact in my miserable attempts at trying to make mine a PE(just wont handle it) the only BIOS I found using a Sub Vendor ID was Sapphire( I would have preferred a Sapphire but this one was a deal)You shouldnt really expect to hit PE speeds(maybe the core) but anything over 500 on the Mem is pushing it (2.0ns RAM= 500mhz)

Yeah my ram tops out at 550mhz with 540mhz core. I wasn't expecting to be able to get any more out of it. It only says RADEON X800 for me though not ATI RADEON X800 XT. Although it works and I'm too lazy to dig a floppy drive and put it in my computer to flash. I don't normally have a floppy drive in.
So I'm going back to play some more GTA San Andreas. (So addicting!!)

Are you using the Cat 5.6s? I know mine showed up as an X800 when I was using the 5.5s but the 5.6s showed up as an XT
To all of you that have modded X800Pro's or X800XT's (including me). After I have found out that my PowerColor X800XT can work at 560/600MHz I decide to flash it with XT PE BIOS. In the beggining it was just X800 serie???? and fan works only after reaching 70C and stops below 50C. It makes me nervous. Now I have nice X800XT PE. I will not recommend to flash with X800XT BIOS based on the above described. The simplest thing is to take newest XT PE BIOS and using RaBit to change the core / memory speed to desired level (depending on your card maximum stable speeds -10MHz for both) and to flash it with the "new" BIOS. Don't forget that you will have Overdrive at 526MHz if it is too high just don't use it.
Good luck.

Thanks, but I already flashed it yesterday. It doesn't affect my fan speed at all because I have a Zalman running off a 4 pin molex power connection. In addition I have two 75cfm fans mounted into my side panel blowing directly on the card.

and me I have always used ATI Tool to control my Fans its all I really use it for Fan control and Temp Monitor tho it is odd I can still run my X800XT(same bios I sent you wtf) and it runs just fine at 520/560 but on a PE BIOS PHFFFFT!!! nothin! I guess I will use a profile in ATI Tool now and turn it on for gaming.....
