I was wondering if I could control the speed of the fan on my 9600XT with any kind of program or software...Do you guys have some tools for it or it dosen't exist?

Im not really an ATI expert(or nvidia for that matter lol) but you can use ATItool to adjust your fan speed.

:D but not on a 9600 there is no chip for that

Um Grief he has a 9600XT so yes he may very well be able to if it has a Temp Monitor chip which most do ;)

My card is from Asus...dunno if it has that chip

yeah ASUS do but you may still not get the fan speeds as they do alot of their own stuff on the card all you can do it try ATI tool and see if Fan Control show up in the setting also if your using their Smart Doctor or whatever they call it uninstall it first as it would most likely conflict with it
