Potentially Dead Card?

I was trying out my newcooling setup on my ati x850Xt with atitool. The card got to 550 core @ 50C and then the screen corrupted and system stalled. I shutdown thinking nothing of it other than it was pushed too far. After a long powerdown I was greated with a garbled POST screen which lasted all the way into windows and then the computer stalled and reset. This has continued over and over. Sometimes the screen is visible and I can boot into safemode fine but when I get the good screen and boot normally the system crashes and the screen returns to a garbled stated.

Did I kill the card or is some latent setting causing this? Any help is appreciated.
