Why does my card go to 87C :eek: while scanning for artifacts with ATi Tool?

Sapphire ATi Radeon X800 XT PE (AGP) is the card.
Thats with stock speed.

Because it is at full load continuously whilst doing this. My X800Pro (flashed to XT specs) also did this until I installed a Silencer 4 cooler, and now the max temps I see are approx 62degC.....you could perhaps try to refit your current cooler to see if it makes a difference if you don't fancy spending the cash on a better cooler.
