My specs
AMD 3500 2.2 OC to 2.5
1 Gig Corsair Ram dual
x800 xt AGP 256mb
MSI neo mobo

When I first built this thing, I used ATI Tool to OC my card to 520/560 or close. Everything worked great no artifacts and FPS is games was awesome. My PS burned out (it was only generic), and somehow it affected the card so I had it replaced from Saphire. They sent me a replacement. The graphics on the actual card are different although it says its still x800 xt. Why different grahics? Anyways now i tried OC this card and I barely get 505/505 then it scans artifacts. WTF!? When I tried to find highest core/mem ATI tool took it down below the 499/499 and I was getting artifacts there. Can someone help me on this?

all graphics cards overclock different, some will go very high, and other will bearly leave stock speeds, just one of these things

I understand that, but its the same card model and same system, nothing has changed but the PS, and I have a much better one now. This doesnt make sense

OK I just called Saphire since its OEM. One thing I forgot to mention was that even at stock settings I was getting some artifacts while scanning. Saphire told me its probably a bad board again!! You believe this crap!

Yes, I do. A lot of people come here explaining about a card that artifacts at stock speeds. Good news is you're getting another new one from them and if you get lucky it will overclock even further than your first one.
