View Full Version : Free Ad-Supported Full Games - The future ?

Although ONLY AVAILABLE TO US RESIDENTS AT THE TIME Ubisoft has released three full games for download completely free of charge, supported by ads which appear during loading screens. These games are Far Cry (http://www.fileplanet.com/180410/180000/fileinfo/Far-Cry-Full-Game-%5BFree-Game---Ad-Supported%5D), Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (http://www.fileplanet.com/180411/180000/fileinfo/Prince-of-Persia:-Sands-of-Time-Full-Game-%5BFree-Game---Ad-Supported%5D) and Rayman Raving Rabbids (http://www.fileplanet.com/180428/180000/fileinfo/Rayman-Raving-Rabbids-%5BFree-Game---Ad-Supported%5D).

Now that I like, ads only during loading screens :) I hate the ad filled games that have them everywhere and detract from the visual experience. If they are just on menus, and loading screens then I don't have a problem with them, and I will quite happily put up with them to get the game free.

im dl farcry now, didnt say anything about me being in the uk, maybe when its installing? well see anyway free games = good :toast:

Some ads are in the game too I saw a screen-shot of a poster on a hill but I can't remember where

You don't have to pay. I get ads during load times in FarCry. So... anyone know how to diable the ads yet?

Rayman Raving Rabbids was a great game to play with my gf when she was here it was fun and funny. but i dont care about in game ads

When registering Ubi.com account, just say you live in US (or modify existing account). The installer will ask your Ubi.com account and password.

What about that "playing with Fraps removes the ads"?
