Artifact Scanning in v0.24

Hi

I've noticed a slider to modify the number of artifacts this version detects - can someone tell me how much difference it makes? What's the best setting to use? I can't find any documentation on this.

the best settings is the default settings ( one notch to the right ), which ignores all artifacts which are 1 pixels big

the further you move it to the right the more artifacts it ignores, for example if you say "i can live with a few artifacts" you move the slider further to the right and get a higher clock out of it

if you have any suggestions on the slider range, ie. smaller or bigger i'd appreciate your feedback

Thanks for the reply. Why is it best to ignore artifacts which are 1 pixel in size? I'm currently away but will have a play with it when I get back and post if I have any thoughts.
