I just tweaked my x800 pro bios so the default speeds are 540 core, 526.50 mem.
It's a really simple bios editor that enables you to change default clock speeds (if you know what your card can handle).
just do an internet search for RaBiT v1.5 if you want to download it.

I think most people here know about RaBiT already. ;)

Fair enough. I've just never heard anyone mention it.

It's not a big deal.Almost everyone who's flashing the BIOS of his video card uses Rabit to change the clocks, memory latency, etc.

RaBiT 1.7 is the latest release. At least the latest I could find. I just modified the clock speeds on my X850XT to PE speeds. I wish I could find some memory tweaks. In comparing an X800 and X850 bios, I notice the memory timings are identical. I thought maybe there would be different seeing as the core controls the memory functions, and the core is newer, R480 vs. R420.
