cracking doom 3 [Archive] - techPowerUp! Forums

i have a burnt version of doom 3 and am having trouble getting it to work.

i install all 3 disks and then when i go to open the game it tells me to install disk one- to repeat the whole process.

any tips?

Get a genuine copy. This is the most obvious advice I have ever given. Although, because you have tried to install a pirated copy, the anti-piracy mechanism will prevent you from properly install the genuine copy as well. Only way to rectify this is either by a very clever registry hack or a clean reinstall of windows.

All in all, getting the genuine copy in the first place would have save you the trouble... Just imagine... you could have been fragging away instead of coming to us.. sigh~
