View Full Version : PSU Fan Rails No Longer Deliver Current.

Help!!!

My fans plugged on the fan rails of my psu just died out on me; all 3........and the psu cooling too.........I think i'll have to RMA that PSU ...... Its still delivering normal on the Mobo and PCIE etc though so i routed power to the back panel fan on the mobo but the two others are molex plugs..could it be slowly comming to the end of its life:

If the psu fan died too, it's 100% time to rma.

DO NOT USE YOUR PC.

If your PSU fails, e.g. all fans down, then it not just a fan problem but something else. It is JUST AS LIKELY to fail on your voltage and overvolt and fry your whole mainboard.

you have some decent hardware there,dont risk killing it.change that psu NOW.

Just bought an enermax infiniti 720w...........seems decent; I'll swap in in tomorrow......so much for Be Quiet but I'll have it rma'd and keep the new one as spare:rolleyes:

Just bought an enermax infiniti 720w...........seems decent; I'll swap in in tomorrow......so much for Be Quiet but I'll have it rma'd and keep the new one as spare:rolleyes:

Its a good PSU and better than the one you are replacing ..decent choice and hurra for not using that faulty PSU that wants to kill the rest of your hardware!

Wow............much better PSU..........the system is 100% better, and my card is running and funny the whole system is 4~5° cooler.........the fans are in better shape and seem to run faster and with a better CFM than with the be Quiet......Kudos Enermax:toast:Infinity.

Can't wait to grab 5 to run a few tests............
