Really the only one I can confirm as fitting is the Thermalright HR-03 Plus (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835109136)
And even the neweggg listing says 8800gtx only, but the press release says HD2900XT...
Do the Zalaman's fit on the HD2900's? I'd like to go with the VF-900, but don't want to buy it if it doesn't fit :banghead:
Not sure what the deal is, but nobody lists the HD XXXX series as compatible...:wtf:

Still nothing....anyone answer this?
If it fits a 1950xtx will it fit a 2900? Thought I read somewhere something about a recessed GPU or something...

The GPU is a little bit recessed when compared to the shim that surrounds it. The maze 4 water block works because it is not flat, the center protrude further down so it will make contact with the core. Any cooler you get will have to have something similar to that. You can see what I am talking about when you look at the stock cooler if you take it off.

I ordered http://www.thermalright.com/a_page/main_product_hr03_r600.htm
from frozencpu
and a 92mm Scythe fan and RAM sinks from newegg....
Should I worry about the Vreg circuitry? I thought I saw somewhere where someone left the copper from the factory HSF and put a Zalman on it. Wonder if I can leave the existing power heatsink alone and install the thermalright
