Well my eVGA board sucks at overclocking my Q6600, which I kind of already knew. I could RMA it for a new board which is supposed to fix the problems, but I don't want to wait for eVGA to do it.
So which board should I go for, the P5N32-E SLI (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131073) or is it worth it to go for the Striker Extreme (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131074)?
I prefer ASUS boards since they have always served me well, but will go with something else if it is really worth it, and I need SLI, so no suggestions for Intel chipsets.

striker extreme if you absolutely need asus. otherwise i recommend the evga 680i sli a1 mobo.
and you'll want the 680i sli chipset for the li.

if you were looking to get a dx10 with it I would recomend the x35 board.. but that dont do sli or x fire well.. you could wait until nov.12th and get the new 780i.. :)

Yeah, SLI is a must, and I odn't like Intel chipsets, so any board with an x38 is out.
And I'm impatient, so I can't wait for 780i.

x38 is whack, only real benefit is 1-3 points on 3dmark and full x-fire. stick with either 680i or 780i. shame on all of the people that were too lazy to read the part that he need sli lmao.

your mobo still runs the quad for now so atleast your not without a pc :) Havent reviewed much about the 780i all I really know is its sli.. atleast it will prob be more quad friendly and 45nm rdy :). Nov.12th.
