I am buying a motherboard soon, and I've read that it can only accept up to DDR2 6400 (800mhz)
I also read in a post that I can put DDR2 8500 (1066mhz) RAM onto the motherboard, so that if i overclock it, the RAM will have no troubles at all.
I was just wondering that, if I chose to do that, when i install the RAM and turn the computer on for the first time, will the RAM be under/over volted the second it is switched on?
Or if there would be any other problems.
Cheers! :toast:
