Just ordered my 2900 pro.

Well, I took the plunge. Went and ordered the HIS 2900 PRO Should be here on tuesday or wednesday.

I got the HIS one aswell last saterday... and i must say i was really impressed with the packaging and build quality... its a beast!!! and so solidly constructed... you just can feel its gonna do the business.
looking online at the sapphire packaging.. it looks a bit shabby in comparison... im sure the sapphire card itself is fine though.

bet you gonna have a few restless nights before it arrives.. hehe ;)

Well i managed this below on a 3.2ghz overclock on my Q6600 (stock GFX):

Then i clocked the Q6600 to 3.4ghz and got this (stock GFX clocks):

this card needs a high clocked CPU to really shine but i see you already clocked yours up... ... either way itll be the most powerfull piece in your machine and the best upgrade GFX you could get at this point :)

I am still on the retail cooler on my Q6600, so i only clocked it to 3.4 for a quick benchmark and then set it back down again after the 3Dmark06 bench... after that i then clocked the card to XT standards and have not done a bench with it... it ran comfortably at XT settings for 4 hours while i played "Medal of Honor Airborne" then i had to go to bed ;)

Ouch, sucks when the radiator goes. The main reason that I ordered today was because they were going so fast. I didn't want to get stuck with an 8800GTS or something like that.
