I already have the G.skill, I like the crucial just because of the led's. Just wanted to see what you prefer or think is better as far as performance not because of the led's.

Performance will be very similar since both sets use D9 chips.

Plus tighter timings at 800Mhz stock does not necessarily mean tighter timings ate say 1200Mhz, sometimes tighter timings at stock speeds for the same chips can simply be down to stock voltages.
I am a Crucial fan so I would be bound to say them but TBH, as Solaris has said, if you do not intend to do really big overclocks on your memory then probably, as they are the same D9's......the GSkill might just be your better option.

I didnt notice those untill after I got the G. Skill, or they didnt have them at the time. Oh well. Good to know the Crucial RAM is good also in case I decide to upgrade the ram.
