Well, it appears that my X1900 AIW is dieing. Comp boots up in funny colors (artifacts) and when it gets to windows the screen just turns off, but if I let it sit like that for a few minutes and reboot it "usually" comes on just fine.
I've tried it in several other systems and it's definitely the card. Worst part is I can't hardly OC it anymore, and the cards stock settings are 500/960. I used to get 600/1240 on stock volts, but now I barley get 500/1008.
Under normal circumstances I'd just buy an RV670 XT next month, but I'm flat broke and gonna stay that way for a while. (stupid college) Life sucks. :banghead:

i'm guessing you've already checked that the HSF is on properly and the temps check out?

Take apart the stock fan and cooler, clean them out and redo the thermal paste, it will probably be OK.

I've had it for about a year now, and it's under warranty. The temps are in a good range though 49C, and I'm using an after market cooler.
If I sent it in for a replacement I'd have to put the stock cooler back on and I'd be completely without a graphics card.

Better than having a gfx card that doesn't work..buy some like $20 one off newegg.

I hunted hard for one too.. real hard. They're broken horses though, they have the full 16 pipes but are missing a voltage regulator so they don't OC much past 600. All in all faster than a GT.
Another big disappointment was the lack TV and FM functionality in XP x64 and Vista x86 and X64. :(
