While officially version 2.0.0.8 is still under RC1 after installation in the "About Mozilla Firefox" you will notice that this is the final version thus Mozilla will be announcing it tomorrow or the day after. Enjoy guys :)

Right about the time Firebird became Firefox, things started going downhill. It used to be a nice and fast no frills browser. Nowadays, it’s trying to out-IE the IE. Which defeats the purpose of it.

HellasVagabond was actually banned because of this story, for those of you who are curious.

His last ban was temporary, because we had asked him repeatedly to not post things like this. This ban is permanent, because when his ban expired he went right back to his old habits.

I realize there are obviously other reasons for his ban, but posting news about Firefox is actually useful. If you want to ban people for useless posts, check out the Club Forum, or the vast majority of posts by people who don't know how to use Google before they ask a question.

EDIT: Sorry, I just realized I should have used a PM instead.
