a lot of people are reporting that the decrypting freezes at 55%... i know it did for me.

lol typically my steam went wrong 2 days ago and I've been trying to download my catalogue of 20gb of games since then and HL2:E2 sits at 39% downloaded... with no further info being sent :(.
I'm going to go play Portal :D

Half-Life 2: EP 2 is kicking ass. Literally has some of the best graphics I've ever seen...

heh.. anyone with Gmod has had access to portal features and the gun for what feels like years ;)

busy decrypting now. wewt. may hold of Gmod for a few hours to play. lol, ive racked up nearly 50 hours Gmod time these past 2 weeks alone, and im working full time :p

HL 2 : Episode 2 is what I've been waiting for! This is one of the few times I was glad that I bought an ATI video card (FREE Black Box voucher) this time around! ;)

When I finish school in 4 weeks, Im going to buy and play all these wonderful titles.
I never had the chance to play the 'episodes' so Im looking forward to catching up.
Ep1, Ep2 and PORTAL! Omg can someone say 1 week long lanparty! :roll:?

I just wish my stupid install of xp would let me play any of the new games! I was playing TF2 beta fine but get a stupid internal driver error with Portal (a new one I've never seen regarding page file) AND HL2 Ep:2 just sits there on the blurry screenshot image indefinitely. Way to go with compatibility Valve, ONLY yr games I have issues with...

Done playing the game...well kinda short. But the ending sure tells us that we'll be in an ENTIRE new terrain for episode 3. Heh.... Some glitches though and freaking hard achievements to get.

argh, portal downloaded and decoded in speedo time, but for some reason, HL2 episode 2 is stuck at 44% download, no speed rating or anything, just stuck... any ideas?

multi-thread is to ...

(1) increase draw distance
(2) have better AI
(3) have better particle effects
(4) better physics

it doesn't mean that you gonna have 100% usage.

CSS? TF2 FTW! Portal is pretty sweet, but geeze it's short. All the crazy puzzles leading up to the end... then the end is a piece of cake. (HAHA) IMO the entire ending is pretty uninspired. The rest of it is amazing, and the credits song is kinda amusing. I'm about to start EP2..

Lol Portal is very very weird at the end. Don't tell me what happens at the end of EP2 though... I was very surprised about what happened to Alex though :eek:.

Wow.. just finished EP2, and it is definitely the most intense scene... EVER. I'm actually kinda pissed at DOG for taking so long, but whatever. EP3 is gonna be pretty crazy. When does it come out? lol

im still bloody frozen on 44% DOWNLOAD for Episode two!!!! dunno what on earth is going on. I deleted local content, pressed install again, it jumps to 44% and does nothing

Half Life 2 = Etremely amazing
Episode One = Even better!
Episode Two = Almost shocked about how great this episode were...

And soon we will get EP 3! So far Valve have made the game better and better for each new part of the story they release. I wonder if it's even possible to improve the story any more, but we will seen with EP 3 :P

Portal was great, but way too short. I love the ending song, so I simply had to extract so I can listen to it for hours on end :P

the problem with the download at 44% happens to people with black box for some reason valve need to get it sorted

Wewt!! well, since having the black box for months, im JUST being able to download now. guess steam fixed the download bug!!!
