Someone tell me some good single player RPG(Turn based)games to look for.
They are my favorite type of games, and they don't make very many of them
Medieval 2 Total war ;)
campaign map is turn based, battle isn't

Runescape is, in fact, retarded.

I guess a good question to ask would be, "What have you played?" so that we can suggest other RPGs.
How about something like Jade Empire Special Edition

I have not gotten very far in it, but it has a unique fighting controls and a good story.
Graphics are decent too.
The reviews were very good.

So is it turn base?

Well not exactly. I mean it's not something like Temple of Elemental Evil, but I think you might enjoy it.
I guess you are right, I think they compare it to KOTOR, but I never played that so I don't know.
How about NWN 2 ?

I have been thinking of picking up Never White 2.
They just don't make turned based RPGs anymore after all of the MMO games.

You are right, there are not a lot of pure turned based games anymore. Everything is going real time.
Dungeon Lords was promising but turned out to be such a piece of crap that it hit the dumpster after like 2 weeks on the shelves. I hear the re-released version is better, but I am not going to buy the game again to get the bugs fixed.
How about reaching back in time and playing "Betrayal at Antara"? ;)

I have every Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale they made. All excellent.
Graphics are dated, but I love the games.
Darn mages suck at low levels though. Stupid DnD rules

There are also the Spellforce (a mix of rpg & rts) and the Dungeon Seige games that are good.
Sacred is a fun game too. I think there is a Sacred II out also, but I don't have it.
Oh, I just noticed Planescape: Torment in my collection ... a MUST play !!

I have all of the DS and DS II games too.
For some old school fun you can try Nox and Darkstone (both Diablo-like)

Jade empire is cool, but it's not turn based. What about the Final Fantasy Games? Personally, I hate turn based and wish that KotoR would have stayed standard combat.

I have the "Wheel of Time" game based on the Robert Jordan novel, but it has been so long since I played it I can't remember if the combat is turned based.
DaMulta, if you ever want to take a break from RPGs and burn out every synapsis, get a gamed called "Schizm". It is a game similar to Myst or Riven, but makes the puzzles in them look like pre-school stuff. Just make sure to get the DVD version as the CD version is like 10 CDs. Only two kinds of people like Schizm, those with advanced degrees in engineering, and those who have bought the play guide. :D

Its not turned based by any means, and its very similar to Elder Scrolls Oblivion, but I've really been enjoying Two Worlds.
