IE7 on all the machines I use at home and work.

It's not that I have any issues against any of the other browsers, it's just that IE is there so I use it.

one of the reasons i dont like ie7/opera/other ie core based browsers

and also the fact that firefox is very customizable and versatile.

I use Firefox.

I have nothing really against IE, other than that fact that just about everyone else uses it, and that in itself has it's consequences.

Besides, Firefox has adblock :D.

I use IE on Vista.. I dont mind if they dont fully delete my history.. butthey should not keep your outlook stuff on you computer when you deleted it.. hackers could steal your internets@! lol well your infomation, or if some noob sells his computer without clearing the HD the nexted person could find some private infomation on thier system.. not nice but this is microsoft and they dont care lol.

I honestly don't care. If Microsoft wants to store 9 million hits on TPU that's ok.

Besides, I know where MS stores the stuff and can get rid of it if I need to.

i personally prefer my privacy thank you, and i'd like to see you delete everything ms stores, that article has a shitload of hiding places lol.

I can't stand IE, it always seems to freeze up on me. And, firefox saves my session, so if i forget what i was doing, i can just restore my old session and carry on. oh, and i like all the customization options. oh, and it's also very pretty.

im done.

I use Firefox with:

NoScript
Adblock Plus >>> shortening URLs to their nasty roots! :)
Cookie Safe
ShowIP
DownThemAll!
Extended Statusbar
Tab Effect
Google Toolbar
CustomizeGoogle

Plus Firefox Portable for USB Stick.

IE6/7 and Opera just for compability checks.

you can use ietab, its a really useful extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

it lets me use ie from firefox, really useful for things like compatibility checks, etc.

so far ff is winning, leaving the other broswers in the dust, having over 50% of the vote.

Opera ftw.A browser that lets you resume downloads EVERYTIME, now that`s what I want.
Netscape sorta...
Safari sorta...
It`s just too much hassle to use a download manager ... ya know ?

lol, opera is a great way to download linux distros lol

Firefox. I'm thinking about moving to IE7 though.. It looks better imo. Opera is really nice too.

I've tried Safari a bit, but it's kinda frustating to use. Also, there's no Cleartype, so the text is kinda fuzzy. It looks really good though..

So far, FireFox continues to stay in the lead with ~55% of the votes, with ie trailing behind with ~27% of the votes.

IE and Opera

Only due to the fact that FireFox has too many security holes, and Opera is more secure.

You can customise firefox to exactly how you want it to look...
And if premade skins arnt good enough, you can just create your own. Yay for open source.

I know, but you can hide the menu bar in IE7. That's why I think it looks better. :)

IE7 FTW! :DI've read it, but IE7 is still poop. It doesn't have the features I want. Opera does, but I just don't like it's interface. Firefox has an extension for everything I want, and good themes floating around that I like.

F11 hides/minimises any browsers menu. I don't even use the minimise function anyway.

I use Firefox, because IE sucks arse and I've never bothered with Opera. I have the same theme as ex_reven actually, lmao I hate bright themes. I only have a single plugin with Firefox, Flashgot to use with GetRight 6.3 Pro, makes life easier for the old dial up (shoot me but if you saw Australian DSL prices you might understand).

Oh yeah, I used to use IE only to download YouTube movies and then grab the flv file out of the temp internet folder, but then they changed their damn system, tight arses.

As for the youtube vids, try Orbit Downloader. http://www.orbitdownloader.com/

Nope, that's for fullscreen, something I don't like. I want it to look like that, but with the start-meny at the bottom.

Lol fair enough.

Personally, I use both IE7 and FF (FF installed on my U3 device), and they are both fine. Just prefer IE7 because ive used it longer :p.

Wile E - Not too fussed about my bandwidth. I'm not going to go pay $80 AUD a month for some decent speed 20GB plan though so unlimited dialup is fine for me, costs me less. Sometimes I push some rather amusing speeds though, I once was downloading a game trailer direct from the iiNet server (My ISP) and i went to about 32kbps for about an hour. I have proof of that on a friends computer.
I get distracted too mcuh to be bothered about downloading movies etc. Anyway, I also do love Firefox for the plug-ins, so many different ones to choose from, all made by fellow users and not the program creators is a bonus as well.

My $48/month plan ($30 for 9 months, $60 for 15 months) brings me 12GB a month (where I get capped when I go over, not get charged more :p) and 1.2mb/s download speeds from Aussie servers :D.

Lol I don't think its possible for a dial up modem to go 32kb/s :p. 56k = 56 kiloBITS = 7 kiloBYTES per second. If max speed is 7 kilobytes (for upload and download), how can you be going @ 32kb/s ?
