Another daily VS thread with NVIDIA's SLI and ATI's Croffire technology compared side by side. NVIDIA has the SLI cards working, but the first RADEON X850 CrossFire Edition cards are already in production and will become available around mid-July. Even if Crossfire X800 or X850 don't reach 7800GTX SLI performance, the secret R520 will do that. Now, the time has come for the two Multi-GPU standards to show their muscles.

Was under the impression that no matter what cards really that if u get down to it the sli is far more superiour to crossfire that crossfire is desighned to be cheaper for the gamers. and well just outa intrest how many peeps would go crossfire knowing that sli is allready perfected by all MOBO companies. I think ATI waited to long to do this and i think it will show in their sales unfortunately cause once Nvidia done it it swayed alot of peeps to get it.
