Which RAM should I get. My current RAM is in my specs.
Bear in mind that I have an Athlon system, but I may get a Core 2 one eventually. I would have always gone for the Crucial sticks but the low latency modules appeal.

Ballistix. They're D9.

The G.Skills are Promos ICs, iirc.

I have both of those kits, and the Crucials are much better clockers, tho the G.Skills aren't bad in any way, just not as good.

So the overclockable speeds will outweigh the far lower latencies?

So the overclockable speeds will outweigh the far lower latencies? The latencies are only lower in rating. My Ballistix will do 4-4-3-5 DDR800, no problem @ stock volts. They'll also do 1066 4-4-4-12 @ 2.4V.

Ahh, found the thread with my test results.

Start at post 14, and read my next few posts. You'll see how capable the Ballistix are. Even hit CAS3 800MHz.
