Read the above news blog from my local news paper. This Tracy guy is directly comparing dog fighting to deer hunting, and it is complete bullshit.
Here is my fathers responce to the blog:
What kind of an article would one expect from a male (notice I did NOT say man) named Tracy???? I see our expectations were met last week when Ms. Lorenz showed us what a whiney little princess she is…..
It is truly sad that our local newspaper chose to waste space, time, and even ink on this drivel from such a self centered waste of skin.
Let’s try to set the record back on track:
1. Very few people would condone any act of abuse of any animal. This is even truer when the act is illegal.
2. Hunting is a legal sport, enjoyed by many. It is a fact that kids, who get involved in hunting and fishing, are far less apt to get into trouble than those who are not lucky enough to get involved.
3. The acts of humans have resulted in a deer herd that is larger than the natural land can support. The farm fields feed these extra animals all growing season. But then there is harvest and the extra food is removed from the eco system. Many animals then face slow starvation. We have caused the population explosion, we need to control it, and hunting is the means.
4. There is also the 80 – 20 rule in hunting: it is 20 % of the hunters who bag 80% of the game. What does this mean? It is those who work hard to learn how to hunt properly that are the successful ones. Obviously Princess Tracy has no clue. To compare this hard work and sportsmanship to some cruelty to caged animals is unacceptable for someone who is allowed in print.
5. It is you Ms. Lorenz who has crossed the thin line by saying it is OK to shoot as many deer as possible – if it keeps your car safe. What a self centered, immature statement. From the sound of it, the car is probably some pretty pink Volkswagen that your daddy bought anyway. Not even made in America……..
6. If you do not like our water, or driving, you are free to leave. I believe that there is a collection under way to pay for the casket……………….I mean ticket.
7. Your reference to the handicap vans should win you a busted nose. I have heard many volunteers who want to deliver your trophy…. But they don’t want to be accused of hitting a girl…………… those vans carry the most precious cargo. Human beings. Many people riding in these vans are doing so because they cannot drive for themselves. These drivers should be applauded and thanked by everyone every day. Or maybe you would understand it if I put it to you this way – lets go to the junk yard and get a 1970 something school bus, then put an Indy car motor in it, and hire a stunt driver to drive YOUR KIDS around town. We will give this driver an extra $100 for every blown stop sign, $250 for every blown red light, and $500 for every semi truck he plays chicken with (we wouldn’t want that bus to get in someone’s way now would we???). Sound like a nice trip to school for your kids??? Of course, not sure if you have any kids, it is obvious you have no balls….. I did not see a baseball, basketball, or even a beach ball in your yard.
In closing, please accept the gift enclosed in the box, it is a new warm suit for you to wear. It is the most beautiful brown, with white trim; you will also find a GPS unit. On November 15th, please take the GPS unit and turn it on, then follow the set track it displays. Be ready for a nice walk in the woods, you better start early, right at daylight would be best. I can guarantee you will make someone’s day…………… and maybe the chronicle can find a writer with something positive to add to our community to replace your sorry_ _ _.
