These days, NVIDIA and ATI are so worried about being faster than the competition, that both plan to have "aces up their sleeves, in case the other company brings out a card faster than their current offering. So NVIDIA has the G71, in case the ATI 520 ends up faster than the current G70 (7800 GTX). The G71 may run at crazy 800Mhz as mentioned in the Article, and will have new 2 slot cooling solution.
