Found this mobo lookin at the Black Pearl 8800's and OMG is this thing sweet....just the pricetag is a killer....expected to sell at $1299:twitch:

Onboard memory, no.
Only 1333MHz fsb support, no 1600 like the x38 and upcoming x48 chipet. no.

not exactly...they used the title...but EVGA was a watercooled mobo....this is a whole different idea.

Someone please tell me what the point of buying a $1300 motherboard would be when you can get something that does the same thing for, what...$250 tops?

For the extras, and lets hope this bombs. Because we don't want all the other motherboard manufacturers getting this high cost idea.

All tho I have been wondering why motherboards are greatly cheaper than top of the line video cards.
