same core (the 360)?


the websites don't say anything about what was changed

Just got this card in from newegg. Man was I pissed when I saw that red PCB with its tiny heatsink come out of the box. However, removing the heatsink revealed that the Hynix 2.8 memory is still paired with an R360 core, though the BIOS is now R350..... I'm off to find a new BIOS.

I just got a msi rx9800-TD128SP pro, could i use the Gecube bios to upgrade my pro to XT?

i also just recieved a TD128SP from newegg.

mine is the r350 (i haven't removed the heatsink for fear of not being able to return it, but it's what ati tool says...prolly just bios tho) and samsung brand ram.

it has a lot better of a software package...but i really wanted that nice heatsink...so i'm probably going to exchange it for the regular TD128

i haven't removed my hsf yet, but i got the samsung mem on the vga.

has anyone successfully flashed the baby yet???

if i rip off the hsf do i need new compound to stick it back together?if so what kind/brand is best?
