how do i connect this?

i bought a 8in 4 watt flourescent blacklight at walmart today and i was wondering how you would connect this to the power supply? strip the wires and connect it to a molex right? but which wires to which color wires? the light dosent have its wires labeled as to which is which

If it is AC then you need to plug it into the wall. If it is 12V then you can strip the pins and try to hook it up, but you might kill it or your computer. Do so at your own risk.

if you cant firgure out by those numbers then you should NOT be messing with wires inside your computer.

run the plug through an open pci slot out the back of the case and plug it into an outlet strip along with your computer so you have a way to turn everything off.

while it is true, that wasnt meant to sound as bad as it did so please forgive my abruptness. :slap:


what you have is a 120v = 120 volts so it needs to be plugged into a wall outlet or outlet strip.
