I recall years ago recieving someones CB radio clear as a bell over our stereo. Could only hear one side of the conversation, the guy must have had a way jacked-up power output. Happened a few other times too (same guy).

Years ago, my friend and I were playing with walkie talkies and we were picking up conversations on cordless phones from the neighborhood. If it's on the same frequency, then you could be getting interference.

My family used to use CBs all the time. My grandfather had a base station set up, with a 500w linear boot. If he fired it up to full power, it would knock the TVs out in the neighborhood. (The ones using an antenna at least). We also regularly spoke to family in Louisiana from the base station. (we're in Pennsylvania)

Funny, when I saw the name foxtrot it just reminded me of an episode of "That 70's Show" when Fez, Kelso, and Hyde were trying to pick up chicks with their radio transmitter in his van
