I'm looking for the fastest 'cheap' 754 processor I can find that's preferably 3000+ or higher. Looking for an Athlon rather than a Sempron right now. LMK what you've got.
Thanks,
Fiream

What mobo do you have? I have both Semprons and Athlons. Sempron 2800 is 64 bit and clocks to 2.4 easily. I am selling my biostar mobo. So I can sell my 3200 CPU. $30 + shipping. Let me know if this is ok.

the 3200 is good. The 3400 is the open lid proc. Just to clarify.

Suraswami has some good AMD stuff man, I highly recommend purchasing from him if you're having any second thoughts!
Get the 3200 if you want an "unmolested" CPU, and OC the snot out of it! :toast:

I'm sure he does:). I sent him a PM back the other day and didn't hear from him. Suraswami, that is basically the chip I was looking for it's just more than I can invest in one.
Thanks,

I just picked up a VIA based Soltek board and need to have a CPU on hand to test it out when it gets here. Not too concerned about overclocking as all I've got here is standard Crucial PC-3200.

"My guess would be from $6 to $12.
Sempy is Retail boxed, comes with heatsink box etc.
3200 is just bare cpu. Comes in its anti-static shell with foam packing.
Which one do you want?
If you don't mind for little extra can I send thru Fedex?"
So I guess $42 shipped for the 3200 would be a fair deal.
