The main difference between 680i SLI and 780i SLI:

1. support PCIe Gen2

2. 3 x PCIe x16

3. support 3-way SLI

Because the 780i SLI is using the 680i SLI's south bridge and north bridge plus a BR04 chip, so there is no huge difference between 680i SLI, even the hottest topic: 3-way SLI is only an driver upgrade, doesn't need any architecture changes.(NV later will release a 3-way SLI driver for 680i SLI.)

I believe only certain people can make threads in review section, since they'll appear on the front page, so this avoids spamming from companies.
Nice and short, I usually only read reviews to look over the results, so nice to see mostly just results posted up. Looks like the 780i SLi is just a waste of a number, silicone, money, time and electricity, since it's just a 680i.
Maybe Nvidia should instead just focus on the drivers for 3-way SLi instead.

Also, if they really want to be jumping on the whole PCIe 2 bandwagon, maybe they should make graphics cards that can take advantage of the extra bandwidth, since I doubt an 8800Ultra would really truly need the full 16x PCIe 1 bandwidth, let alone the extra bandwidth offered up by PCIe 2

We won't really find out how good it is over the 680 until PCI-E 2.0 cards come out...
