MMORPG lag

I've been playing a game called "Rules The Sea" for about 4 months. lately I've had a lag wile "mugging" using my screen refresh I've tryed talking with the game admin, with out much help. I'm told it's got to be on my end. I have this problem no where else. I've defraged, debugged, reset my isp adress, (I use high speed cable @ 100mbps) and still have this problem with one feature, on one game sight. does any one have any ideas as to what may be causing this?

Maybe you have to open some ports on your router?

Have you loaded any new software lately? Maybe something loaded that is running a process in the background and slowing you down a little.

no nothing out of the ordinary. It is a text based game. At times I'll be running up to 3 games at once. Some are rather graphics intensive. the only thing efected is the screen refresh on the tbg regaurdless of how much or little is running at once. :(
