i was just wondering what motherboard to get for my new 3800+ venice core it has a bus speed of 2000Mhz. The abit a8v 3rd eye mobo has the same northbrige as the MSI K8T Neo2-FIR yet the abit says it supports 2000MHz fsb and the MSI says it supports only 800MHz this really confuses me, if i get the MSI would it cap the fsb of my processor?
or am i reading too much into this, it's just occured to me that they could be two different buses. the mobos one basically the faster it is then the faster memory it can support right? or am i still wrong?
