BattleField 2142 With Vista

OK --I just got new PC and it has Vista. I installed BF2142 and it says not a Win32. I understand that message. Now I installed the game with all it's patches but I get a DLL error. The name of the file is ZLIB122.DLL not found. I searched Google for this file and it is related to many other programs. What am I to fix to get this BF2142 working again.

urm try installing XP and running it through that, it probably will run better too

no, it works fine on vista. you usually need to turn off voip, and then if that doesn't work, reinstall it and check your dx version. that warning during installation is also in bf2, it doesnt mean anything

If I install Windows XP it will screw up my new pc as it is set for Vista. I am sure there must be a solution to running BF2142 on a Vista OS.

look above lol, and how will xp screw up a vista setting, im sure downgrading wouldnt do any harm at all
