Antec Super Lanboy +8800GTX

Hey everyone, im still very new to the forums, so i hope this is the right section to be posting this. I was wondering if it's possible with a little patience to fit an 8800GTX into an Antec Super lanboy, because after a few measurements on a friends super lanboy, it seems possible

It won't fit without proper modifications, the card is 1" longer, you'll need to remove/mod/cut the HDD cage.

i think there is someone in the casemod gallery who had an 8800gtx in a lanboy it just fits but this was a long time ago so not too sure

Thanks for the swift replies, well in about an hour my friend will be bringing his case, and has agreed to let me try fit it in. Can't pass up an offer, so i'll go ahead with it :laugh:

Hmm, then I'm mistaken...I remember there was a whole mod thread in XS, showing how 8800GTX won't fit and needs modifications to put the card in.

Well after a little work, i managed to fit it into the case aswell, just takes a bit of clever movement to get it into place hehe, or you could take the hard-drive(s) out and bend the cage and then bend it back into place (but i wouldn't recommend that). If only i had a digital camera, i could show the process, well when i order my antec super lanboy i'll order a digital camera with it :p
