Go with this board and you cant go wrong. Best Athlon 64 AGP board. It also has socket 939.

yeh that looks pretty good and is exactly the same price as another one i found and like alot MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum. This board gets some really good reviews. Which is better?

btw i'll be putting the new 3800+ venice on it for some serious gaming performance

Go with the DFI. Best overal board with killer overclocking features. I would get a 3700+ Sandiago over that venice chip.

do you have a good reason? cos the venice has more new features.

Plus there is not much gains by buying a San Diego over a Venice, at least not ones that will be noticable. I would go with the Venice based on price versus the San Diego.

The 3800 Venice is more expensive than a 3700 Sandiego. The Venice core is a sandiego with less cache. The venice does not have more features than a Sandiego core. But when it comes to a cpu go with what ever you can afford, not by what someone tells you.

This was the article I was referencing for my previous post about the little gains the SD has over the Venice.

I guess the Venice are a little more expensive than the SD. Sorry.

Reveiw on the SD and Venice chips.

I guess I would consider an SD chip then based on price and the hair of performence it has over the Venice.

Good luck on the cpu hunt!!
