alright i'm debating about something real quick.
whats the difference between OCZ, patriot, kingston, mushkin, and whatever i left out.
i know timings and high density play a big factor. but what is the difference between all of these? warranty wise or something? timings?
i'm on hold for some ocz and patriots and corsair but which to choose?!
ocz 512x2 2.5-4-4-8
patriots 512x2 2.5-3-3-7
corsair 1x4gig 2.5-?-?-?

patriots timings are good but i don't think i would use it for OCing or gaming.Maybe OCZ or the corsair if i knew teh timings i could tell you... I am not sure on the warranty i think the OCZ would have the best warranty.you know you can check

Two major problems with this question as I see it....
#1 what mobo are you using....for compatability reasons?
#2 Are you planning to Overclock?
As a very blind suggestion(guess) as to what you should purchase, I'd go with these....http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148015
I dont really think Im gonna get too many arguements either!

All of those companies should have a lifetime warranty. Some will perform better than other depending on model not brand.
Here is a list detailing what PCB and memory chip different models use. I believe Micron D9 chips are the preferred overclocking chips right now.

umm i'm planning to overclock a little mostly with timings and performance not trying to kill my chip since its only socket 754 amd 3000+. my graphics suck also so i'm just doing it so that i can run more programs and stuff.
what is with the winbond utt and brainpower pcb. dunno what that is but more revisions the better?
