It's actual output is approximatly 748W, so that's pretty good, Quad GPU support, quiet, modular, it's 8-pin PCI-E... looks prety good.

No problem. For anyone who doesn't know who reads this, actual output is calculated by doing this:

x= Specified wattage y= efficiency of psu z=actual wattage

x/100*y=z

Hiper isn't traditionally a sought after brand. Many people have complained of their quality. I've never test one first hand to comment further.

How much does it cost?

No problem. For anyone who doesn't know who reads this, actual output is calculated by doing this:

x= Specified wattage y= efficiency of psu z=actual wattage

x/100*y=zNo, the rated wattage isn't changed by the efficiency. The rated output doesn't change, all that changes is what it pulls from the wall socket. The less efficient, the more it pulls from the socket, given the same output levels.

EDIT: Sound confusing, so I'll give examples. Say the unit is actually 85% efficient, as it claims, at 880w, it would pull 1035W from the wall. Now, say it was 75% efficient, at the same 880W output, it would pull 1173w from the wall. The efficiency rating doesn't effect the output. That remains constant. It effects the amount of power used to achieve the output.

No, where I read it, it says that the effeciency is how much actual wattage it supplies to the system. Might it be different in America?

Read edited post. A psu's rated output, is it's rated output, period. (Well, if manufacturer is being honest). The input power is what changes with different efficiencies.
