Current Motherboard: http://www.xpcgear.com/msirs480m2il.html
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 Dual Core 2600 Toledo
Ram: 2g Memory - [Kingston PC3200 (DDR400) SDRAM]x2
Current Video Card: Geforce 8800 GTS 320mb
PSU: Seasonic M12 600w ATX12v

I'm attempting to update my motherboard to go along with the rest of the computer but not sure what to look for in one. I also don't have a windows restore disk, are there any other ways to get windows up without one?

What do you mean the rest of the computer man??? Are you upgrading to AM2 or C2d or what??

If your planning to buy another board for that FX 60 cpu then I wouldn;t bother as they are getting outdated and you wouldn't see much of a performance gain. Just keep that board.

Or you can sell the board, cpu and ram and get on the DDR2 bandwagon... :)

With the windows issue, I am sure you can either download a copy of the net from somewhere or get one of the guys of here, that are in the same country as you to just burn a copy and post it to ya. :)

Good point, im still trying to diagnose a problem with my setup and figured the motherboard might be the issue but as it turns out, i am getting proper voltage on the mobo, speedfan is just reading it wrong according to their site.

I've replaced a power supply and a GPU so far but the problem persists. /sigh

Sorry mate I didn't know you had a prob there. I thought you were just upgrading the mb... Your gfx card is definitely stuffed by the look of it.... do you want to buy another agp card though?? that is the question.. or is your board already pcie
