I just noticed that the stock fans that came with my Soprano case has a four pin connector for power, then a small 3 pin connector with only the yellow wire on it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this for controlling the fan speed? I can just plug my fans into the psu 4 pin connector, then use my fron panel controller to control the speeds? If so, that'd be awesome!

no, the yellow wire is merely an rpm sensor.

Ahh. My next question then is do all 3 pin connector fans (that contain all 3 wires) work with fan controllers?
