I have a question about dumping the bios for ati 0.24

My GPU is a ATI made 9800pro 128MB 256-bit Hynix bios flashed -> GeCube 9800Pxt 128MB 256-bit Hynix. It was successful in flashing and checked with RaBit 1.5 to see that when I dumped the bios shows standards clocks for GeCube GPU which is 398-C 350-M.

-My setting in Catalyst driver are:

--SMARTGART= 8x agp, Fastwrite "off" (ref. http://www.tweakguides.com/ATICAT_1.html)

--3D= D3D and OpenGL same = AA & AF "application preference", Txt Pref & Mipmap Lvl "high quality", Wait for Vsync & True form "off"

--VPU Recover= disabled

--Options= all unchecked

-My settings in ATITool 0.24 are:

--Overclocking= all unchecked

--Artifact Scanning

First heatup-phase starts if no artifacts detected for= "30" seconds

First phase has a length of= "60" seconds

After a successful phase, the next is longer by= "120" %

While running 'Find Max' increase frequency after= "30" seconds

Use old scanning method= unchecked

Stop scanning after= "10000" sec. without artifacts= checked
and set card to default clock speeds= UNCHECKED
and shutdown system= UNCHECKED

Disable screensaver during scans= checked

Beep on artifact= checked

Slider= All the way to the left "More artifacts detected Lower overclock"

--Gamma Control= none all unchecked

--Startup

Everytime ATItool is launched, load profile= Default (checked)

Load on Windows Startup via= Registry Key (checked)

When loaded via Windows Startup, exit after loading above profile= unchecked

--3D-Detection= none all unchecked

--Refresh Rate Fix= none all unchecked

--Miscellaneous

All unchecked except for

Limit log file size to 10000 KBytes
Minimize on close
Current selected Cat A.I. level Low

My question is I changed the clock settings ex. 429C 365M and click Set Clock then dump the bios. When I check with RaBit 1.5 are the clock settings suppose to be the same as the one currently set on ATItool or the default because when I checked it showed me the default (398C, 350M). Should it read as 429C 365M in Rabit after i successfully set clock speeds THEN dump bios?

Thnx,

Speeds will be the default ones.
Alter them with Rabit (v1.7 is the latest) and reflash.

atitool does not change the bios. so any changes you make to the clocks are not stored inside the bios, so they wont be inside the bios you dump
