Temperatures for MSI nVidia 6600GT

I changed the drivers from the 71.89 to the new 77.72 and temps increased by 8c to 11c, just from drivers. Before 49c idle to 64c load, now 60c idle 75c load. Does changing drivers have an effect on GPU temps?

thanks, solved the problem, filters on my fans plugged up with dust.
