This gauge connects to your computer to reveal critical information about your PC’s current operating conditions. Rather than modern digital readouts, the Gigabyte Visual USB Gauge (GZ-PGAPB-01R (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/PowerSupply/Products_Spec.aspx?ClassValue=Power+Supply&ProductID=2685&ProductName=Visuals)) uses a good, old fashioned analog gauge to relay the current state of your power supply. Designed specifically for use with Odin GT series of PSUs, the gauge plugs into your computer through a USB port and can tell you about the power supply’s current operating temperature, wattage consumption and fan speed. The three LED illuminated buttons in front of the device are used to quickly switch between the three measurement types.

hhmmm... sounds a little "gimmicky". How can it tell your psu's watt usage through usb?? I know there must be some sort of software involved but I still can't see how it can calculate it??

Has anyone got one of these??

probably just an interface relay...would be my guess. Unless a mainboard does a hell of alot more than we are lead to believe

Oh ma gawd! Now with LEDs, cathodes, LCDs and crazy case mods I can get gauges to make my PC match my hot pink Honda Civic!. In other words, "hhmmm... sounds a little "gimmicky"."
