Hey guys, I have a Palit x800pro and ati tools will not allow me to adjust the fan speed. In the log, the error message is "Temperature monitoring: chip not detected". I thought that the x800 series supported temperature monitoring? Is it likely that this 'Palit' brand simply doesn't have the ability to detect temps?
Thanks in advance,
Steve

Hey, yes I have the latest catalyst drivers, I tried to reinstall them too, but nothing has worked so far. I have also reinstalled the ati tool. The fan seems to be on its highest speed constantly. Any ideas?
I have an Asus a8n-sli deluxe motherboard, Athlon64 3500+ Venice, Palit x800pro. could it be that something just isn't set up right?
